Scratch one grub.
I'm probably going to pump out a video blog in the coming days, but in all honestly my video blog time (which was typically my lunch hour) has now been replaced with Gears of War with my coworkers. I know what you're thinking, Gears of War Tim? Isn't that just another shooter type game? Well yes it's a shooter (third person actually) but it is definitely the game that has raised the bar between the previous generation and next generation gaming. Also, it's round based tactics, meaning no more "throw caution to the wind" Halo multiplayer- you think out your turns and strategize.
I've also picked up Viva Piñata, which my good friend Juan will quickly tell you "is a game for kids!" I've been tending to my virtual garden while trying to understand why my piñata sparrows will not mate. Yeah I know, major dilemma!
Unfortunately tonight all this gaming goodness will be put on hold while I prepare for exams this week.

Marie Serneholt Loves Simon Belmont
So I'm sitting here, getting my Business Stats study on. Quietly in the background I've got the infinitely great Soundic Radio providing the soundtrack for my learning. Anyways, this song comes on and I instantly recognize the hook. Have a listen below, if you knew a dude named Simon Belmont growing up you might remember.
God, I love Swedish radio, you never know what you're gonna hear!
Edit: Not sure which Castlevania the hook belongs too. Sigh... this is gonna kill me. Anwyays, back to stats.

F*ck you EA
I feel very inclined to type. As of right now I officially renounce my allegiance to the company Electronic Arts. Within the past years I’ve watched them single-handedly destroy my most beloved franchise “Madden,” and their latest move leaves me with nothing but the bitterest taste of disgust in my mouth.
First with Madden, they made promises of a next-generation experience with their new game engine to the popular franchise. Of course they fail to mention that the gameplay, franchise mode, animations were all completely broken. The title itself lacked all the great features that made its predecessor a classic. They released this so-called “next gen” version for the Xbox 360 and I quickly went out shelled out my hard earned cash. Upon playing this next generation version of Madden I was disappointed- yet even with this disappointment I convinced my friends to continue playing. I made promises to them for EA, pleading that EA would get it right, that Madden would be great once again.
In comes Madden 2007, a game that was even more broken than the previous version. Once again we all bought in and were burned very, very badly. Again came the promises of a game rich with features only to discover that if you wanted these features you were going to have to spend more money (in micro-transactions) via Xbox live. Yea, let me clarify that last statement, shit that was once free now is locked on the game and you have to pay to unlock it. So on top of spending 75 bucks (Hall of Fame Edition + taxes) you could pay 4 bucks to unlock a classic stadium or a throwback jersey. Yeah, cos 75 bucks just isn’t enough money for a fucking game.
So today I hear about this… I’m fucking speechless.
Thanks EA, you have now completely alienated one of your most loyal customers. Fuck off.

Pacman Jones Sucks
Every time I see a touchdown pass against the Titans defense, it’s Pacman Jones getting burned. This guy is one of the most overrated players ever.
Well my future wife hit on every game (cept the Bucs) to take the football pool for the second time this year. Another week of her dominating the so-called experts.
